New finite modelling of the nonlinear static bending analysis of piezoelectric FG sandwich plates resting on nonlinear elastic foundations

This paper presents a new finite modelling of the nonlinear static bending analysis piezoelectric functionally graded (FG) sandwich plates resting on elastic foundations. Finite element formulations are derived by using first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) Mindlin and method. The proposed mathematical model this work verified comparing results with those other methods, they in good agreement. A parameter study is conducted to investigate effects geometrical physical properties such as factors, volume fraction index, foundation parameters, applied voltages, boundary conditions, etc., mechanical behaviors FG plates. novel numerical very important, can be used reference examine related structures well use engineering practice.
